Howard leventhal rip off artist still at it 5 years later

Be warned, I was ripped off by this scam over 5 years ago. Sad to see that Howard is still on the take.

For $300 I received his "business package" which included one typed page of nonsense along with suggested prices. For an additional $100 plus postage I received his "sample pack" of towels to show to potential customers. The "sample pack" items were a joke, raggedy towels and washcloths so thin you could see through them. They wouldn't make good rags to wash your car with.

Howard likes to brag about "hookups" with major suppliers dropping the names Dundee, Martex, Canon, etc. When in fact the single supplier he "hooks" you up with is an outfit named Dade Towel in Florida which, based on the sample pack, deals in seconds and rags from the legitimate manufacturers.

Howard also likes to claim that those who complain about his scam are lazy and need to get out there and sell. But its a catch 22. Potential clients would laugh you out of their places of business when you presented those rags as what you had to offer.

If you truely want to sell towels, go with a legitimate supplier or company and avoid this nonsense. But be forewarned, this is not as "easy" as Howard makes it sound. Most hotel chains, hospitals, etc. Contract to purchase towels and uniforms directly from large wholesalers and manufacturers.

This is a scam. Period.
