Today, I received my second notice from RJM Acquisitions Funding LLC about a non-existant account for FINGERHUT under my name. Of course I hurriedly checked all 3 credit reporting agencies to see if anything under this name was on my report. Not surprised, there wasn't.
The notice has three (3) "Opportunities" listed for paying off this supposed debt; one at a discounted rate of 60% off, the second at a 40% disc. With payments of $30.28 until debt is paid off (my "balance" is $303.82), and the third is payments of $15.19 until debt is paid off. "Opportunities" 2 and 3 offer you a receipt after each payment; the first one does not.
And after thinking about it, I received another notice from them quite a while ago about another supposed outstanding balance on a Visa card. Another load of bull.
