Severly Overcharged for a service that no charge was quoted for!?

I was browsing on Facebook when I came accross a banner that said enter your name to find out the name of your love match. I entered my name then it requested my mobile number which I entered expecting the site just to text me a name and then attempt to get me to subscribe to something as nowhere on the site did it state this would be chargeable at that point.

The site then sent me 3 texts one after the other in about 20seconds (I only managed to stop them by reading the text received which stated to cancel send stop in reply) which have been charged to my phone @ 2 each so 6 for 3 texts in under a minute.

This is a total rip off and im sure illegal as the banner appears like its part of Facebook and was just a little gimicky name generator. Know where on the site from start to finish states that you will be charged at all let alone 2 for receiving a text? Its only by luck that I read the text received all the way through and noticed you had to text STOP in reply to the message to stop them sending me anymore. If a younger or older person fell into this trap they could end up being charged 10's even 100's of pounds without knowing...

As stated above I find this totally out of order and possibly illegal therefore I would appreciate it if you could investigate this site and let me know if there is any way for me to try and get my money/credit back?
