False and misleading info. To get your money-seminars brainwash you!

We tried to request a refund and cancel our tuition Gold package which cost $13,000.00. We were actually very eager to start and put all of our efforts into the courses in our package, but have recently found out that there were reports made against the company. The reports state that the company is a fraud, and a get rich scam. We were very surprised and quite shocked to have read numerous reports against the company and it has led us to the conclusion that we feel we can no longer trust this company.

We had attended the Grow Rich Stay Rich Wealth Conference on Thursday, July 26 at 6:30 P.M. Located at the Marriott Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa 2552 Kalakaua Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii. At this wealth conference, we were very moved by the speaker, Sidney Speary. He said if we wanted to learn how to do all of the things he was talking about, we could sign up and attend the 3-day classes and be educated for only $49.00. He told us he was the owner of the company and since it was the last night of the wealth conference he would lower the price from $199.00 just for us! Much to our surprise, we found out later from other people in our 3-day class, everyone paid $49.00!!!

When we attended the 3-day classes, on Thursday, August 9, Friday, August 10, and Saturday, August 11 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa located at 2005 Kalia Road, Honolulu, Hawaii, we were made many promises, which we now know to be false and misleading. We were told that we would have a mentor to call up on the phone if ever we were to run into problems or have any questions. Only after our so-called 3 day cancellation period was up, did we find out from Daniel (customer service manager) that if we want phone coaching, it would be an extra charge of $300.00 per session, or $2100.00 for 6 sessions, $3400.00 for 10 sessions, or $5200.00 for 15 sessions, which are only 45 minutes in length per session! Unbelievable!

We were also told that there is someone from Grow Rich Stay Rich locally in every state so that we would have someone locally to turn to for any advice or help if needed, but obviously that isnt true either. Another thing that is puzzling to us are the statements that were made by Trevor Wolf (our instructor for the 3-day class) saying that whatever tuition package we purchased, we could go online and take the same classes over and over again and attend the live classes 3-4 times a year when they come to the island as many times as we would like to if we dont understand or if we didnt quite get it the first time around. On the back of the contract, under Requirements it states that the student may attend a refresher course free of charge within one year of the students first attendance. But, like we said, we were told refresher courses are free of charge and can be attended as long as we wish (indefinitely).

(Tuesday, August 21) at 9:17 A.M. (Hawaii Time) I spoke with Daniel-Customer Service Manager, about getting a refund, canceling our tuition package, and returning all of our items (which we never even used) due to the issues and concerns mentioned in this letter, not to mention the negative reports filed against the company. He said there was no way to cancel and receive a refund now since our 3-day cancellation period is up.

We are quite upset with this company and it's false claims, and are trying to pursue getting a refund but most likely will not get. We charged $13,000 in credit because of the statements that were made during our wealth conference and 3-day classes, only to find out that everything they said was either a complete lie, or totally misleading just to get our money!!! (They even act as if they actually care about our well-being and us making money.) We live in Hawaii and don't have much, and are actually serious about trying to get ahead financially somehow, and can't believe the way this company works so hard to get your money! And it's not just a few hundred dollars, it's thousands of dollars! We bought the cheaper package at $13,000, but their packages ran up to $32,995 (and that's the price after the so-called discount in savings).

We just wanted to let everyone who has issues with this company what's going on.

Thanks to those who filed reports on this site, cause without that, we would've never even thought twice about our decision. Hopefully, they'll decide it's better to just refund us our money back, but if not, companies like this always get what's coming to them.
