UnAuthorized Charges, False Information, Avoiding Phone Calls, Fake Confirmation Numbers ripoff

Received original bill for $1.99 "processing" for grant information. Called on 4/25/07 to dispute and cancel further charges and was given a cancellation confirmation number.

Was billed $49.95 on 4/30. Called again and gave confirmation number and was told it would be refunded and canceled (again).

Was billed $49.95 again on 5/30,6/29, and found out another was processed for today (7/30). I have been calling over and over and get the same answer. The person that answers the phone cannot help me. They are not "authorized" to make those kind of corrections. They refer me to speak with their boss, but that person tells me the same thing. They cannot do refunds or fix this kind of problem. I ask for their boss and they tell me they are not available.

Today I called four times. Each time I went through the original person who answers the phone to their boss, then that person told me that they don't even give cancellation confirmation numbers (although they did give me one and I did write it down, and the second time I called they even looked it up).

I was given 3 names of people who could help me. Trevor, Kat or Todd. I ask for each of these three people and every time I am told they are not there, or the server is down so they cannot look up my information. I ask when I can call back and I'm told these people are "just in and out" so they cannot tell me when they will be there.

Bottom line is, they have charged me $200 of unauthorized charges, have lied about the cancellation confirmation code, and have flat-out avoided phone calls, ignored complaints, and are completely scamming and playing games.

I am filing with the BBB, and with my credit card company.
