National City - AOL
AOL will use ACH to debit your account even after it has been closed ripoff

Education & Science

I closed my account with National City and they rejected AOL when they attempted to charge my account. AOL used the ACH method to charge my account in November when my account had been closed in August.

National City allowed this to happen. National City contacted me and said that I owe for overdraft fees on a closed account. I never gave AOL permission to use ACH.

I contacted the office at the bank and reported what had transpired and they
"Investigated The Claim" and found me at fault.

Now my Credit Rating is terrible. You can't get a bank account if another has charged off. I have been fighting this for 3 years. So beware closing out your account and having it noted that nothing else can go through does not guarentee that YOUR ACCOUNT IS CLOSED.

AOL has done this numerous times to thousands of people. You try to close your account with them, the still debit your account. You try to close your bank account they will still use it and the consumers are the ones that pay.
