President Scam Using Skylands Community Bank Checks ripoff

I received a Treasurer's check in the amount of $1,998.00 from Littlewood International Lotto. The check looks legimate from Skylands Community Bank in Hackettstown, NJ. There is a letter from Littlewoods' President Carl Thomason, stating that you have to call a telephone to validate your check. There is also a toll free telephone # on the Skylands Community Bank check, along with a verified address, when you call the # you are first told to hold then music, then your are asked to enter the check #.

When you enter the check # it verifies the amount and to whom the checked is issued. Luckily, I work in the criminal justice system and when something seems to good to be true it is. I am also going to notify the local authorites and Skylands Community Bank.
