Sweeepstakes winner from alc financial group burned by the scam

This company is going to rip you off!!! I received a letter stating that I was one of ten winners in millions of dollars sweepstake, they sent me a check for a little over 3,100.00 from some sponser in Florida, stating that this was my first payment, before the lump sum. The letter also stated that I won a vacation. I was so excited, who wouldn't be, and I could really use the money, who couldn't? All I had to do was call the number provided to claim my prize.

The check looked real! I already had it spent in my head before I deposited it... I talked with all my friends and family most of whom were just as excited, but something in my questioned this letter and check.

I called the number provided only to get a message stating their voice mail was full and to try back or leave a message, however the voice mail wouldn' t allow me to leave a message, so I just kept calling. Not knowing this was a number out of Canada.

I voiced my concerns to my sister who looked up the sponser who issued the check on-line and called the number provided from the internet, not the number on top of the check. The so called sponser stated that they did not issue the check and this was a scam many people fell into.

I was very disappointed and relieved that I hadn't attempted to deposit the so-called check. Two and a half weeks later I received a different check and letter arrived in my mail, post marked just as before, with a check for 1,998.00 once again stating that I had won some type of sweepstakes and this money was to help pay the taxes on my winnings of 85,000.00, instantly I knew this was a scam. I'm begining to feel harrassed, I don't know how people can get away with this!

Everyone who reads this pass it to your friends and families before they can fall into the trap, if they must look into it, have them call the real banks that the check comes from and see if they really issued it.

As said before, if it sounds too good to be true, it is.
