Sounds Like A Scam!

As everyone else looking for courses on line, I bumped into PCDI (Profesional Career Development Institute). All I wanted was information sent to me, so I went ahead and filled in the request and included my cell phone as a contact number.

The very next day (a Friday) my cell phone rang like crazy all day, and what was odd is that they never left a message. Since that was the bigining of Easter weekend, I really didn't feel like talking to anyone about business, so I decided not to answer their calls. The phone rang every couple of hours on Saturday, and even on Easter Sunday! Right off the bat, I started to get a bad feeling about them.

Finally on Monday at 8am on my way to work I answered a call. On the other line was an Asian woman who introduced herself as an admissions counselor for PCDI. I let her do her intro speech (I could tell she was reading a script... This was my second warning. After she was done, I told her that all I wanted was infomation mailed to me and that's all -she said thank you the information will be mailed to you.

On the same day-a couple of hours later I got another call, which I didn't answer, and later in the afternoon I got yet another call. This time it was an Asian sounding man, who I could barely understand... Again I let him read his script and as I interrupted by telling him to just send me the info, he keep on reading... He told me that all I needed to do was fill out the admission application over the phone, then he would give me a student I. D number which would log me on, but before all that he need to get a down payment check from me. I interrupted again and told him I was not ready to fill out any admission forms, nor am I intrested in making a downpayment for something I have no information about.

He assured me that this is the best online school in the country, and that I would be able to get my certificate in a year or less for only $794 dollars.

Well, after telling him several times I did not want to enroll, and to just send me a brochure or something... He said he didn't have any brochures, just the books and material that I could get only if I made a down payment at that time.

I told him, I'm not that crazy, and to just forget the whole thing, because he was not trying to please me as a customer. He keeped begging me not to hang up and to realize what a rewarding experience joining PCDI would be for me.

Finally I hung up and started to research for reviews on line, and that is how I bumped into the complaint, which reassured me that PCDI in not worth my time or money&thank you very much.
