Scam, liars, ripoffs, worthless

I graduated from ITT in and I must say this is the worst financial decision I have ever made. I should have listened to my wife. For starters the STAFF. STAFF told the class on numerous occasions. Go to the university, go to the university. Don't come here, your money could do better somewhere else, go to the college and get your bachelors. He mentioned it was better to get certified.

One of the recruiters, who also was a student complained on a daily basis, how this school sucked, and how he scammed more suckers into coming into ITT.

I am 20k in the whole, because of a lousy education, and a degree thats probably not worth the paper its printed on. Those recruiters got the best of me. I still am frustrated with the 2 years I wasted and the money that was scammed out of me. Just like many of the other reports I have read on here, ITT promised a 50k a year job. IT is the hottest sector and when you finish you can be a network administrator. ITT gave me a false hope and took advantage of my desire to succeed.

I should have know something was wrong when a a schoolmate comes high on drugs just about everyday and hardly does assignments, graduates with highest honors. I detest their commercials, they should have told me none of my credits would NOT transfer. I applied for an entry level programming position, entry level help desk, entry level network admin, guess what. I didnt get the job. I attempted to use my degree as leverage, obviously i didnt get the job, because i'm here. I should have just stayed in the military making 38k a year. I have given up on the IT field and am now close to finishing an engineering degree from a nationally recognized school where i can build on my education if i so desire. Thank you ITT for all the ridicule, family stress and financial hardship. Many friends and family have considered ITT, I don't hesitate to tell them "go to the university"

One last word. The dean walked into one of my classes in the last quarter, that he was instructing, (but not that day). Congratulated us on making it this far, and all the well wishes blah blah blah. He said "in the future if you feel like your skills need to be updated or need some extra training, come back and sit in some classes to get that extra training you need"
maybe i should take him up on his offer.
