HAS NOW RUINED MY CREDIT ripoff District Heights Maryland

You all have said a mouth full here!

I refinanced my loan last year, and unfortunately, ended up with ASC. At the end of last year, I refinanced again and was happy to know I would be able to deal with a company that had a web-site and real people to talk to.

It was only just this past Monday (Jan 15,07), while applying for an auto loan, that I find ASC did not process my payoff until 11/1/07 which made me 30 days late and now on my credit report.

When contacting them, I have been advised that there is no one I can talk to rather, I need to write a letter to their lawyers "but it is what it is". WHAT!?!?! It appears, they didn't receive the payoff from my lender until 5:00PM on 10/30/06. They then processed the payoff on 10/31/06, but did not post it to my account until the next day (11/1/06) which made it 30 days late. When I asked for a letter stating this (for my records and to send to the credit reporting agencies), they state they're unable to provide such documentation. WHAT?!?! Why?!?! She said "because we don't do that".

I had excellent credit prior to dealing with these fools. I now find myself in the same situation as many of you in trying to get this off my record.

Has anyone had any success? Please feel free to include me in any and every class-action lawsuit. This just can't be happening!

I believe they got pissed off at me because they were being paid off and no longer can collect full interest. To get back at me, they held up my payoff in order to "punish" me. They have no idea who they're dealing with. I won't stop until I'm satisfied with the results.
