Internet Scam Artists Without a Heart Ripoff

I'm on social security disability, due to kidney disease; therefore, I only receive a small check once a month. (So small, I also qualify for food stamps.) So, it goes without saying, that I spend my money very carefully.

So, you can imagine how truly upset I was to discover that I didn't have enough money in my checking account to pay my phone bill.

I immediately printed a bank statement and discovered that a company named USA Credit had "initated a web payment" of $149.95 as of 1/12/07! Not only have I NEVER heard of USA Credit, I don't have a clue as to what the payment was for. MasterCard? Visa? A equity loan?

I quite easily found an 800 number for USA Credit on the Internet and I wasted no time in calling. The receptionist, sounded VERY young, very nice — and not too bright. When I asked her what the charge was for, she said she didn't know. When I asked her to look up my "account" by my name, she was unable to do so. She was also unable to find my "account" under my social security number, or the "account number" printed on my bank statement. Exasperated, I asked her what type of business USA Credit was — and I swear to God she said she didn't know.

At my wits end, I asked her just what she could do for me, and she finally had an answer, "nothing" she said. I think that just about sums up USA Credit.

I would to get a class action lawsuit going — anybody interested???
