MWI Privacy Plus
Is a ripoff that colludes with the First USA Bank to deceive consumers

Mwi (a.K.A., "Privacy Plus) acknowledges that they 'make mistakes' and sometimes signs up consumers for services that they know nothing about. Unfortunately, the 'mistakes' are probably 99%-100% of the consumers they sign-up. Although, in some cases, they state they they will readily issue credits for their "mistakes", there is alot more to this story.

Upon calling the First USA Bank Customer Service (my credit card issuer), they also played along with this deceptive marketing practice and simply offered to issue a credit. They are quick to connect you directly with MWI and will avoid addressing their relationship with MCI. Afterall, they shared your personal credit card info with vendors which are being investigated by the Attorney Generals in several states, they don't want to hear you tell them they are deceptive. They prefer to have the phony MWI pit bosses work you over and deceive you further, making you think you ordered their phone suite of products.

They can not address specific questions or provide proof that you ordered any such services, don't expect the taped conversation - they made a "mistake", remember? Instead, they offer extensive verbacide about their unsolicited/undesirable products and proceed to defend their deceptive marketing practices.in my conversaton with MWI today, they reluctantly gave their home office address to me after mentioning that I needed the information to report them to the Nebraska Attorney General. It should also be noted that the first representitive hung up on me after I asked too many questions. Follow-up calls to the credit card provider, FIRST USA Bank, N.A., also led to the same stonewalling experience. It seems these folks use the same deceptive tactics as MCI, and we all know where that has led to...

I really believe FIRST USA BANK is accountable for inviting fraudulent third party marketeers to scam consumers. Cancel your First USA Bank cards today, let them know this practice is unacceptable!!!
