Privacy Matters
Ripoff

Education & Science

Approximately a week ago, I fell for this scam. Fortunately, I did not give debit card information, but a credit card. I talked to someone today from Privacy Matters and basically told them what I thought of their scam.

The person tried to talk me into keeping this service, and I told her I was not interested. When this company advertises it's "service", it states that you get a credit report and a credit score. You get the report, but not the score.

I told her there are several websites where consumers can get FREE reports. She kept trying to convince me, and I just said, "cancel" it. I am going to await my credit card statement and follow this very closely.

Usacomplaints.com is such a good tool to check out companies, and I have used it several times - except for this one! Thanks for all the help, especially suggestions from the editor on how to get our money back from Privacy Matters.
