Sued for $1500 on a $300 loan! Flat out lies

Last year I ran into some financial hardships, and I called Ace Title to ask for some type of extension or payment arrangement, but the company refused to help.

I dropped off a letter promising a payment of $150 (which covers interest only) on this $300 loan. As promised, I paid them. Two days later, they filed a lawsuit against me stating that I "refused" to pay them, and that they "demanded" payment from me.

I left 4-5 messages for the manager to call me regarding my account, but she never returned my call, not once. They took my payment then sued me.

Worse part about all this, the judge was all for their lawyer. He didn't even let me speak, nor did he let the other defendants.

What was stated in the lawsuit was flat out lies on the company's part, but it didn't matter in court.

Stay away from this company. I've had payday loans with Kosters (on Charleston/Nellis) and Budget Loans (Charleston / Pecos)... And I have never had any problems.
