Hiring scam, don't be fooled by career switchers program, ripoff

Virginia Beach Public Schools has program they are offering called the About Face Career switcher.in order to apply you have to take 2 exams, the Virginia Literacy and Praxis at your expense-approx. $200. With 5 years of any work experience you are led to believe after passing these difficult tests you will be hired.

I have 8 years teaching experience, incredible references and passed tests with great scores. What a surprise it was when I received a letter (not a phone call) that I had not been selected. What a huge waste of time and money. I was telling a friend and her friend who was also equally qualified was also not selected.

Do not waste your time or money dealing with this program. I would not approach the tests again without a guarantee.

What a ripoff!
