After searching I now see that I am not the only person left with a bad history when it comes to Colorado Tech Online. I was disabled from a auto accident 4 years ago and unable to work a steady schedule and eventually not at all. I came across CTU and thought I would look into what they had to offer. I checked their credtials and they sounded pretty clean.

After sending for information online I was contacted by one of their Admission advisors... Who I might add was very informative as well as persistant... But I was a tad worried about the 'pace' in which they selling their school? (ie; high pressure sales pitch).

As an unemployable person... Looking for a way to reducate and start a new path to a secure future... I enrolled with the school. They promised me a full financial aid package from the start (even before my transcripts were even obtained)... And I went along because they had Pell Grants to pay my way.

Three weeks later... I am contacted telling me that my previous college credits were not transferable and that I had already signed "paperwork" online (application) that would allow me to get a small loan to cover the difference and so I could start my classes. With this... I declined. Who wouldn't?

But now... To my dismay... I am being hit with a student loan payment of over $ 7000.00... From a school that I have never attended? I am fighting for Social Security disabilty just to live... And have this $ hanging over my head? Something isn't right here at all? Now, if I ever tried to retrain myself to work... Or reducate myself... I won't be able to... Because of a college loan that I owe... To a school that I never attended? Any help out there???
