Ripoff

My husband and I were in need of a car. So we applied online and got into a big mess. We got a call from this lady at FSM Group and she told us that we were approved for a 200.00 loan and my husband said that he didnt know anything about it he had to speak to his wife.

She called back the next day and spoke to me and said that she had talked to my husband and wanted to know if we had made a decision and I told her that we had not even talked about it. A couple of days later we recieved a letter in the mail about the loan and needed to sign it and send it back well we didnt sign it and I threw it away.

Well it is now October 18 and I get a phone call from this DAS Associates saying that my husband is going to be put in jail for internet fraud because he didnt pay them. Well we never applied with FSM and we would not apply for a payday loan over the internet. They now want 535.00 in 24 hours or else is what they are saying.

I have never heard of this company until she called and we didnt authorize any transaction what so ever. So now I have to deal with all the legal fees to get these people off my back. And since when can someone put or take money from your private checking account without the authorization of the account holder? Can anyone help me figure out what to do?
