I started UDS enrolled in the Echocardiography Program. I finished the Radiology class and started the very first week of the second class in the program, Anatomy and Physiology. I inquired about transfering with the understanding of the availability of a satellite school in Norfolk, Virginia. I informed the school of my intention to transfer and was told to contact them once I had moved and they would provide further instruction.

After moving to Virginia I did contact them and following a multitude of telephone calls, I finally cornered someone in the office who then informed me that the satellite office in Norfolk was misinformation, their satellite office was in Bethesda, MD, four hours away.

I was charged $6,000. Total for one month and a week of education. It states on my form that funds would be prorated in the event of discontinuing from the program of all unused funds. These monies are split 2 thousand is with Federal Government and 4 thousand is in a private loan set up by the school with the understanding that I could not get a full stafford loan for the entire amount.

These people are manipulative and coniving. I am still expected to pay for this and I am going to most likely hire a lawyer. This cannot be legal. I am however finishing nursing school with a college and it turns out that it is all being funded by Stafford loans.

I just cannot believe that this is allowed to continue and I just by chance did a google of this topic tonight and found this site with all of these other people who are in the same boat. If there are any lawyers interested in this, please call me. Thanks
