Who Is This? This company began billing me without authorization. Contact attempts is impossible. I do not even know who they are. Ripoff

In July of I was reviewing a credit card statement and noticed a charge of $11.99 for TLG*PRIVGRD53563553JUN 800-374-8273 CT. I also had a charge of $19.95 for AP9*ATHOMEREWARDS (Other). I did not recognize either of these companies and knew that the transactions had not been authorized.

I researched each of these and was able to contact At Home Rewards, which is linked to dealpass.com. They provided my membership number to me and I was able to email them regarding the charges.in their response to me, they stated I was offered and agreed to join during a call from a telemarketing firm. (This was not correct.) They went on to say they were sorry I wished to discontinue my membership and cancelled it as of 7/24. They also credited my credit card for all the transactions.

The research on TLG*PRIVGRD was tedious and the only thing I could find on the internet about them was linked to ALGinfo@affiniongroup.com. I sent an email to this email address explaining I had began receiving charges from them on 1/19 in the amount of $11.99. I went on to say that the charges were never authorized and requested full reimbursement. I track "receipt" and "read" for all my emails. The activity I received on this email was it was "deleted without being read on Thu, 20 Jul 14:20: 15 -400".in other words, they deleted the email and never read it.

These charges from TLG*PRIVGRD have continued since 1/19. I have had a lot going on this year (several family tragedies. I finally sat down to get all the "odds and ends" that have accumulated resolved. I happened upon your site and other entries of complaints about TLG. I am somewhat at a loss in handling these charges but have been billed $11.99 a month since 1/19. This is a total of $107.91 and the charges continue.

I will contact my credit card company but have no idea how to contact TLG. Your help and suggestions would be appreciated. I also want to know how to avoid this situation in the future.
