Ripoff Tried to rip me off

This company is a scam. Don't fall for it. They send you a letter saying you have won 50k and also a check for $2962.30. I called the Better Business Bureau and was informed that if I cashed the check it would get returned and I would be responsible for the entire amount plus fees. Even worse if I deposit it into my account this fraudulent company would have access to my bank account information, which is what they want. BBB said that because it is out of the country there isn't much that can be done, but you are to write void on everything that was mailed to you front and back, make copies of it for your records, and then take it to your local post office to report mail fraud. Hopefully the postal system can put a stop to these people. Please what ever you do don't fall for this, I could really have used the money, but not at that expense!
