Ripoff

I bought this vaccum for $2600.00 CRAZY! Now that I read everything about them. Damn was I a fool! But I had a new home with white carpet and it did clean it and that was what i was wanting. I agreed to a $60.00 per month paymentwith out interest (I think)

We had a house fire, pretty bad. The whole house ad to be packed out and cleaned and ozoned. The Kirby vaccum cleaner had to be sent to the "Rebuild" department. Although this Kirby was only a couple months old, it had to be what they called "rebuilt"

The cleaning service for our house sent the vaccum to the address listed.in which it cost $175.00 and $18.63 x 2 for shiping there and back. (What kind of LIFE TIME WARRANTY does this reallly have?) NONE! You ay for everything. I basicly paid for a half ass cleaning job. I took pics and plan to attch them when inished with this report. Along with the "rebuild" bill, so all can see i am not lieing in any way.

I put the vaccum all together to see just how it ran. It has a funny whinning noise I never had before. It does NOIT have the power it had. The roller brush is made of wood and has fewer brushes on the roller. It was not purchased made of wood I had a metal a brush.

Needless to say the Kirby returned to me as pic's show. Second hand parts. I thing a rebuilt motor from someone elses vaccum. Yet mine was only a couple months old, I now have one I really have no idea how old it is. The shampooer parts untouched, later to find that Kirby does not cover the shampooer on the warranty. But they stuck the smoke filled parts right back in the with the new and what they call cleaned parts. For it all to smell like smoke again!

I did not get a Kirby storage box back as it was shipped to them. I did get back my olkd plastic hanger for the small parts, nnever cleaned inside as if I would not see that or smell it. I have yet to put it all back together as you can tell with the pics. Yet I purchased the vaccum completely built.

I did not get anything that states how to put it back and I would have to guess. That is my next step. I did however call Kirby and complained, mind you they have taken over a month to replace this vaccum, they now say they send a pick-up call tag for this vaccum and do it again. Now I have another month in which i am paying a payment but have no vaccum.

I also have to find somewhere to replace all the shampooing parts. Not to mention the rebuild department has been extremely rude! They do not call you back for days and when you call them they have a voice mail and you have to leave a message and they call you back whenever, needless to say it took me calling them several times to get a call back.

I am very upset that I have to have a second hand vaccum, when mine was only a couple months old. Even some of the attchments do not even match this Kirby series. As you can also tell in the pic's.

Well mit wont allow me to put the pic's in. I think that is BS! I think that all people whatever their view is should be able to back thier word about any subject such as this. But i have no problem sending the pic's to anybody, since the vaccum is being sent back tomorrow to Kirby in which I am sending a demand letter that a brand new KIrby be sent back and if not I will proceed with a law suit and since I very up to the court system, because it it part of my job. I have no problem in suing.

I am not looking to get money at this time but I most definetely want a new vaccum replacement. Well see what happens.

If I do have to sue it will be for the full price of the vaccum, since they have literally LIED! About thier product and certainly about the rebuild!?? Of what that means I am still confused.

I do want all that goes through anything like this with any product, take the time and excercise your rights! Because as long as everyone just excepts crap for their money, that is exactly what you will continue to get.in turns it only hurts the next consumer as well.
