Trying to get back what I threw away

Okay, my hope has been ignited. My story begins right after I got married just over a year ago. My wife and I saw the John Beck thing and decided to take a look at it. We ordered the T.V. Program and a few days after we received it we had another call. The person gave us the whole run down about how they were looking for someone that was motivated to make money and that had the drive to do it and that would be willing to put five hours in a week in order to make huge profits. So I told them that we were but that I would need to talk it over with my wife. They called us the next evening and continued to sell us on what we believed was a win win situation.

I had saved my entire life so that one day I would be able to use it to further benefit our situation. They asked us how much we had saved and I told them that we had about $15,000 saved up. They continued to talk to us about the program and how it would require an investment on our part but that they would guarantee us to make all of it back and more in 60-90 days. So the cost for us was $12,499. We were thrown back at first but we just figured that if we didn't make our money back that we would request a refund. After all they guaranteed that after a couple of transactions we would make it all back and they would make sure of it.

Well it's been a year now and we thought our $12,500 was long gone. I had lost all hope and my wife still gives me smart remarks about out amazing investment. We asked for a refund after it all hit us that it wasn't going to work for us and they told us that there is no way that they could refund our money but that they would give us five more coaching sessions.By then I was so disappointed that the last thing I wanted was more sessions.

So right now my hope is alive again. It still makes me mad to think of how much we forked out. Basically our entire savings. But I have my enrollment paper and what they charged me and m bank statements and so I'm going to send it all in to the Utah Division of Consumer Protection. I hope i can get this resolved. I owe whoever is coaching us all through this to make it happen.
