Ripoff! Cancelled, but still charged on credit card for months! No refund!

Called PeoplePC in Dec 05 to cancel after 3 tech calls of failed attempts to hook up. Also cancelled on-line. Noticed charges on credit card in March when hooking up Comcast high-speed. Called again to cancel. Didn't check again, figured solved, right? Wrong. Just checked bill for other charges and there it was PeoplePC still charging us. Called again and they said we never cancelled and they would cancel but couldn't take charges off. They only noted the call in December and that was to hook up services. We used the CD to hook up with! They said they were different from all other services and valued our privacy so they had no way to tell if we actually used the service because they didn't track our usage. So they assumed we used their service and couldn't refund our money. They were rude and accusatory and very adamant about not refunding the money. That's the only way they are making so much money is by ripping people off by fraudulant credit card charges. I want to get in on a civil suit to put a stop to this unlawful practice. No customer satisfaction at all. She practically called me a liar in every way without coming right out and using the word. They are getting away with breaking the law!
