Phony collection company ripoff national

CBCS is a RIP OFF company using unintellegent people to call/harrass and supervisors are paid one penny more than the telemarketers drones!

I have rec'd calls on my CELL phone from an automatic dialer - for the last year - without ever stating my name or any personal comments simply telling me that the call is Urgent and I need to call them.

I never get an extension number - only a FIRST name and no account number to refer to. I understand from reading MULTIPLE internet COMPLAINTS that when you return the call, you are asked for YOUR PERSONAL ID and then they locate a deliquent billing on you.

Obviously there is a central billing agency that they refer to and can call up an old billing and whether its a current outstanding charge or not - really doesnt matter. They apparently get paid a percentage of whatever they bring in.

I have never given out my CELL PHONE number for contact so my first thought is that they call an automatic list with their automatic phones and just hope folks will return the calls and then provide the personal ID and there you are, finding yourself fighting a never ending battle with morons.

I reported them to DO NOT CALL a year ago - but never rec'd a response. If a REAL PERSON would call me, and ID what they are talking about, it would be one thing, but I believe the above is really their standard operating procedure! *do not fall for their ploy and do not provide any info to this phony collection company.*
