$4.87 shipping not true, later they will charge your credit card or bank account $207.85, ripoff!

I received an email that said I could try Metabolfuel free. When I filled out the form it said I only had to pay $4.87 Shipping. I read the fine print, terms and conditions because I am always skeptical about these things.

I ordered the bottle, received the bottle and my bank account was charged $4.87 on 5/1/06. I thought everything was ok. Since all looked fine I, like an idiot, threw everything I had printed off away.

I was checking my bank account online on Sunday night 5/14/06 and there was a charge of $207.85 pending. I called the customer service at the bank and they said it was from metabofuel and gave me the phone number that was submitted to them as 800-752-0196 and the bank could not do anything because the charge was still pending, once it posts they can dispute.

They 800 number that metabofuel gave the bank was not theirs needless to say and says their number was given out in error and to call metabofuel you needed to call 800-752-0196.

I called metabofuel, same night (5/14) spoke with Ellen, she said I could not do anything and couldnot cancel. She said that the terms and conditions said they would ship me another 4 bottles and charge my acct the $207.85. I said that was not true and she said sorry there was nothing she could do. She would not get a supervisor or let me talk to anyone else. I told her I didnt order and I wanted that cancelled.

Since that time, I am filing a report with the better business bureau, the kentucky attorney general, and here at usacomplaints.com.
I have also copied my local tv station.

The President and CEO of the better business bureau (Charles Mattingly) has contacted me and did a story on my situation on his weekly radio spot. Also Paul M. Wingate from the KY Att. Gen. Office has contacted me. They both say that there are tons of complaints about this company. This is a scam. I hope I get my money back but if not at least I am doing my part to help the next person.

And one more thing, for all who dont realize this. National City bank is my bank and how they can authorize a charge of $207.85 on my account when I only had $42.00 in there and NO overdraft protection. Now I am in the hole that much plus the overdraft fee of $35.00. You know if I would have been at the grocery buying food to feed my son and it was over the $42.00 it would have declined right there. To me the charge should have never gone threw on the banks end either!
