Late and returned check fees after phone payment was lost

In Feb. I gave a payment by phone I talk a person and gave her my account # a few weeks later they claimed that the bank couldn't find the account # so they charging late fees, returned check fees and over the limit fees. Why do I have to pay all this when it was their mistake. I talk to them they didn't care they said I went over my limit when I dont even use my card its been over a year that I dont use it any more. They said I went over the limit with the credit card protector when I never sign approve for it. So they just put me on with another of their mail voices just to get away from talking to me. The amount that they asking theres no way that I can not make it. Thank you for having this sight somebody to talk to I can't even sleep over this thank you again. Herlinda
