Ripoff Garland ISD. Treats parents like criminals. Supt doesn't return calls

Garland ISD in Garland Texas is just a "Good Ole Boy" system taking care of each other but doing little for the Garland parents and children. (My opinion).

Think your kids are safe in Garland ISD then think again. Stranger Danger alerts are regular. Kids talking about drugs in the school occur daily. The Superintendent doesn't return calls to parents and when you call the school district you are treated like crap. Any other school district the School Board Member would not be allowed to be related to the school attorney (conflict of interest) but Garland ISD? Think again.

Think your children are getting a good education when the system is full of "buddies" looking out for each other?

How many school districts do you know that in 2006 are still following a desecrecation order. Think there is prejudice in the schools?

But get behind on school taxes (which are extremely high for what you get back in services) and the school district will be the first to sue you.

Think your kids get a quality education in Garland ISD? Try looking at the school report cards and you tell me what kind of education your kids are really getting. Want a school district that listens? Want a supertindent that is an advocate for parents and students? Better move then.
