Another customer bites the dust. Ripoff

Like many before me, I too have fallen victim to the unfair policies of ABC Distributing. Oh yes, you get their catalog and it seems that they are a remarkable company with unbelievable deals on a wide variey of items. Little does the unsuspecting customer know that this company (in my opinion) has to be one of the most difficult companies in history to deal with.

You place an order and wait in anticipation for your merchandise to arrive. If you are one of the lucky ones, you may receive part of your order (because Heaven forbid that they ever ship an entire order in one delivery) in two months. You open the box only to find that a portion of your order is either missing or (my alltime favorite) on BACKORDER.

So you decide to contact the company about your order, but you find that there is no way to contact them through e-mails and the telephone number is a long distance call to which you will be placed "on hold" for a minimum of thirty minutes. So you wait another 1-2 months for your backordered merchandise to be shipped (which by the way is not paid for) so that they can deduct the cost of the item and the "precious" shipping and handling fee out of your bank account without your knowledge.

By the time that you do receive all of the items that you have ordered, you may have received 3-4 different shipments and paid that shipping and handling fee on each one. How is it possible that a company has been allowed to stay in business as long as this one has, when they practice such unfair business practices?
