Tlgshoppers, tlgprivacyguard, Tlg Credit Protect ripoff, fraud, colusion, repetative unauthorized billing, found chages totaling over $300.00 in one year on my mom's chase bill, sneaky

While helping my mom prep for taxes she asked me if i knew what a tlg was. She explained that she had lot's of charges with tlg on her chase creditcard statement. After reviewing her statements online i discovered she'd been charged over $300.00 for tlg services. She has actually made purchases at local stores totalling 46.00. I called chase and they told me that the membership had been initiated when mom cashed a check for $5.00, that she had cashed this check at bank one.in review my mom said she knows better than to cash any of those bogus checks and she has never been to bank one.

I am now wondering where to start logging my complaints. Did bankone/chase initate this membership? If bank initated what is this type rip off called? My research shows me that trilegiant or tlg has been prosecuted succesfully for fraud in ca and fla., what can i do here in indiana? I've written the indiana states attorney general, is there another consumer rights group i should inform?

Aside from the loss of money, my mom has suffered a loss of self confidence, it is sadly true that an item on her statement marked tlgshoppers35u50708785... 8.99, appeared to be just another confusing code. She had no idea she was a member though she had been paying for three different services for over a year. My mom is a very diligent person, she manages her finances independently, she shops carefully, clips coupons, and watches her nickles and dimes. So yes i'll follow everyones advice here and maybe get her money back, but the damage to her mindset causes us both pain and for that i want to see tlg punished.
