Called me at work and knew all of my personal info, ripped me out of $100.00

In the fall of I got a call at work letting me know that i had been chosen to recieve a grant for $12,500. I had been picked because I was a good taxpayer and was in the medical field. It was supposed to go towards a scholarship fund.

I would be able to recieve $500.00 up front and then in 3 months would be getting the other $12,000. All I had to do was pay a one time fee of $49.95 and then I would recieve a deposit in my checking account.

After searching the internet and finding their website I figured it just could be real and decided (stupidly) to give it a try. Wrong thing to do! The 49.95 was taken out of my account and after a month of nothing in return another $49.95 was taken out. Amazingly a light bulb went off in my head and I realized that I had been Ripped Off!
