Education & Science

First American Benefit Group called me in October saying that I am eligible for $8000 in grovernmental grants. This company charged my acount $299 processing fee. I was told that I will receive documents that I'm supposed to fill out and sent on the adress indicated in those documents. However, what i received was a Guide to Governmental Benefits (a book) and cupons for restaurants (that I will never use) I called and spoke to a representative. I told them that I got the wrong package and I'm sending it back, and I want my money back. She told me not to send the package. I can just keep it, and she'll send me the right package with the documents. She also said that if I wont get my grants I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK. After another couple of weeks I got egzactly the same package. I keep trying to call the company. All I get is their voice mail, (that at times gets full). No one ever called me back. So I'm left with some bs packages that I dont want to and didn't order and a $299 hole in my bank account.
