I was told that I was granted $6,000 in government grants and will never need to repay it back, I only have to pay for the processing fee of $298.00. Of course, they asked for my bank account number to deduct the fee and they don't send the grants

I received a phone call recently last aug. 2 in my cell phone. The individual claimed to be from the grant services. First thing she told me, that i was granted a $6,000 dollars government grants. She said all i have to do is to pay the processing fee of $298.00 dollars.

I was also asked when i will be able to pay the processing fee because i told her that i don't have that money at that time. So, i was given two or three weeks until they will withraw it from my bank account. They did actually took that money from my account in aug. 16. Recently, i called them back with toll free number that was given to me (1-866-999-1896).

I asked them when i am suppose to receive the legal documents that i am suppose to sign and sent back to them. And when i asked the person, he said that they are still waiting for the confirmation from gsi. I told them, i thought i was suppose to receive it by now in 7 days. And then he told me that the confirmation takes about 9 days to process. And then the legal documents will be sent immediately. And if when i send the documents back, it should take about 72 hours to process it again. And then wait another two or three weeks for the grants to go through to my bank. I did know that this is a rip-off or a scammed.

This is actually my first time of being scammed. I just realized when a friend told me that, grants are not advertised and give people a call they are qualified for a grants. I was so angry and very depressed about it and i also did so many researched about government grants scams because i am trying to find out about this if they are legimate but it happened to be a rip-off.
