Ipoff Harassment Lied fraudulent billing

My wife had a cell phone with Cingular wireless and when we moved to W. Virginia we had no service except in very few certain areas. We called them and dropped our service. Granted we had a early termination fee to pay which was $296.95 and we were late in paying it. We were turned over to NCO Financial services for collection.

NCO called us and said if we paid $246.95 our account would be settled. I then gave them my credit card info and my credit card was billed the $246.95 on December 12th. 2005.

We were called again in January and told we still owed the $246.95 plus $50.00 more dollars. I told them then that my credit card had been billed and paid $246.95. They asked me if I had a confermation number, which they did give me when I paid it, but has been missed placed, I'm not perfect.

They then told me to call Cingular and get a confermation number from them, I did that and Cingular told me that the $246.95 was paid and gave me confermation number (11014243.
Cingular then told me I still owed $50.00 insurance premium. I paid that to them right then over the phone, using the same credit card I used to pay NCO and got a confermation number (121072895) for the payment to Cingular for the insurance premium.

Now I have recieved another bill from NCO for now $350.40. And also received a bill from Cingular for $296.95. I don't know whats going on here but someone is doing something illegal. I have my credit card statements and still have the confermation numbers from Cingular.

They don't want to hear it when I give them the confermation numbers, What may I ask can I do? This has put yet another bad mark on my credit report.
