Ripoff

In September I went into a contract with Verizon Wireless. The agreement was a two year, $39.99 per month service agreement with one other addition, a $4.99 per month text messaging service.in October, I received and paid the first bill and everything was in accordance with my contract with Verizon. On November 8 I received my second bill with one unexpected twist.

This time my bill was $97, instead of the usual $55. The difference of $42 was for a service described by Verizon as "Downloads". I immediately contacted Verizon wireless for what I was told that the charge in question was billed by "M-Qube". I contacted M-Qube right away for which I strongly decline these charges. I never heard of M-Qube; nor have I contacted them at anytime.

Downloads as explained by M-Qube representative are jokes or comments that are sent to wireless subscribers each day. I told the representative that I refuse to pay for these charges since I never request them to be part of my service. M-Qube and Verizon Wireless both refuse to give me a full refund and ask that I pay 1/2 of the $42 charge; I disagree and believe that this is wrong and that both company are engaging in unfair business practice.
