I lost $249 from a fake credit card offer RIPOFF

I received a phone call from a representative from Prosperica Financial Bank confirming information that I had previously given to another legit credit card company. I assumed that this was the same company, but for some reason, the credit limit was increased. As a person striving to increase and improve my credit, I was all for this card, but didn't realize it was a scam until I ran across some info on-line about the company on this website.

I've tried contacting the company to see when the card is supposed to be delivered, but the number no longer works. I called a local number to get info and it is just a recorded conversation of me giving my personal info to some Arabic speaking representative. I'm so pissed at my stupidity. I should have done my research.
