Mastercard ripped me off, lied to me, took $259.00 out of my Checking Acct. Promising me a 0% Credit Card for 3 Years that would then go to a 9% interest rate ripoff

On September 3, I received a phone call from a company identifying themselves by the name Prosperica Mastercard, offering a 0% Credit Card for a one time fee of $259.00. At first, I was a somewhat leary, but they sounded quite legitimate and I fell for it. They said this credit card is to help people re-establish their credit.

There were two different ladies that spoke to me including Monica @ Extension #568 and Mirium @ Extension #568. I did ask why they had the same extension, and was told they answer each others phones. They gave me a number of 1-866-353-0320 with the hours of 9AM to 5PM. They told me that the credit card would arrive within 40 days of them receiving my payment out of my checking account electronically on September 9.

I did ask if I could expect the card sooner and was reassured that it would be sent out when my payment was received. They told me that I could call customer service and check on this at the above number. They even gave me a PIN# and a Verification#, so when my card arrived, I could activate it. I asked them to spell the company name, and they did as P-R-O-S-P-E-R-I-C-A.

I did not get the address of their company, & recently went on line to check it out, being somewhhat suspicious, because I only got an answering machine, or no one would answer. I left my name and number, and no one returned my calls. This makes me sick knowing that people can be so deceitful and greedy. These people will stand before GOD someday, and will have to account for their actions.
