Ripoff Failure to pay employee, firing, someone on day of resignation

I worked on contract for this firm for about 3 months and was required by the terms of my contract to provide two weeks notice of intent to resign.

A few hours after I resigned they told me I was fired and refused to pay any compensation for those 2 weeks.

Anyone working for this firm should be cautioned that they are unscrupulous and will rip off your wages... Don't resign, simply don't show up.
