Am I buying a car or and education?

I am really happy that I found this site before I started any classes at the University of Phoenix. I should have been a little apprehensive with the thought of finishing, attending once a week.

Everyone has a right to complain on this site... That is what it's for.in fact I am thankful that people take the time to write their experiences down... You are making a difference because I was ready to start school on the 26th of this month and now I am not.

The people at the college seem unprofessional and my counselor lied to me about the major I chose. I was going to get a bs in human services and the catalog they hand out that explains the degree is total bs. It does not tell you a single thing about what you will use the degree for, it allows the counselor to make up what you want to hear! I feel like this univeristy is more like a used car lot and their classes just may be comparable to lemons.
