Ripoff

I was contacted by an individual named Janette Cooper (the manager) of Atlantic One. I was informed that i was pre-qualified for a bank credit card in the amounts between $4,000 and $10,000 (unsecured). I thought this would be a great chance to rebuild my credit, all she needed over the phone was a check for $319.00 and my card would arrive in 6 weeks. Well its been 6 months (to late to get my money back from the bank) and i call every 2 weeks (if i can get thru) and they keep informing me that the bank is still processing my card. They assure me every time that i have been approved by this bank, which they wont release the name of, and my card is on the way. I was stupid i know now, but they need to be stopped. They are ripping off people who dont have this money to begin with. Something needs to be done to shut them done. Another employee that has given my the same run around is C.J., also a Sara with an ext. Of 307 (which doesnt exist either.)
