Card Charged $9 Recurring for Service I Did Not Authorize

I purchased tickets through Ticketmaster, and they scammed me through Entertainment Rewards. Ticketmaster released my credit card information to a third party, and I was charged $9 for something I did not authorize.

When I called, Entertainment Rewards gave me a ridiculous story and refused to give a refund. The $9 is a recurring charge, which I did not know about until my credit card company informed me, and they were unable to block it. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the woman immediately cancelled the membership. Next, I called Ticketmaster and filed a complaint.

This is outright highway robbery, and there is no other way to put it. Everyone who got scammed, beware. Each of us needs to file a complaint with the BBB to close down Entertainment Rewards and Ticketmaster if they are part of this scam. I am going further and will notify all the local papers in my area of this fraud so that no one else gets scammed. All others, please notify your local newspapers.
