TicketMaster / Entertainment Rewards / I.A.C. Ripoff Unauthorized Credit Card Charges recurring on a Monthly basis

I purchased (1) concert ticket from TicketMaster in June. I am a very cautious internet shopper having once been a Customer Service Rep. For Amazon.com. I am well trained and aware of scam tactics used via the internet. I always check site security methods to ensure they are using the latest Secure Socket Layering available, and that their security certificates are up to date. I read all of the "fine print" before even entering any of my personal information, let alone concluding a transaction involving my credit card information.

I am willing to testify, under oath if necessary, that at no time did the TicketMaster ordering process plainly declare and state that I was being enlisted with the services of any Third Party such as "Entertainment Rewards".
They did so WITHOUT my knowing consent, and in violation of my trust.

I have contacted my bank "Wells Fargo" which is pursuing charge reversals for both un-authorized charges to my account from "Entertainment Rewards".
And I have also contacted Entertainment Rewards to have my UNAUTHORIZED "subscription" cancelled.
In the course of that call I recognized immediately that the Customer Service person was using a script (as we did at Amazon.com) which alone is evidence that this Company deals with these sorts of complaint calls routinely, and yet refuses to change it's unscrupulous methods!

The slang term for it is "blurbs", which I quickly cut off by launching into my own pre-prepared blurb: "I at no time 'subscribed' to any of your services. Do not use the word "subscription" since it does not apply. Refund my money and remove my name and personal information from your records. A class-action suit may be forthcoming and you should be aware that you too may be involved."
Customer Service Reps are not the best paid (usually minimum wage) folk in the world, so I have some empathy for them. But even with that said, I never compromised my personal integrity while working for xxxx (though sometimes pressured me to do so), and neither should they.

The pretended "employees" of Entertainment Rewards responding in here should be aware that their participation in this on-going FRAUD scheme may well net them more than the meager pay they are recieving to post in here; i.E. Culpability in a law suit. I advise them to re-assess their ethical role here.
*Amazon also used paid employees to respond to complaints.

I advise an immediate boycott campaign against TicketMaster, Entertainment Rewards, and IAC their parent Company. Additionally I would avoid having anything to do with "HotWire.com" since they too are an affiliate company under IAC. See IAC site

I would look forward to joining any class-action suit against these thieves should one be put forth.

"Where there's smoke... There's fire." and if Entertainment Rewards & TicketMaster were truly operating on the up & up here: Why so many complaints? It's a thief's way to insult his victim's intelligence rather than admit his crime.
A truly ETHICAL Company would acknowledge the problem, and take IMMEDIATE steps to remedy it!
