Ripoff

I too have received a letter dated 07/24/05 informing me that I owe $6061.96 in Principal and $4022.81 in interest for a total of $10084.77. I spoke with my attorney of record for my bankruptcy and he said I should send them a copy of my Bankruptcy discharge from 1995. I did this on 08/16/05.

Then today 08/17/05 I decided to check for this credit card company Chase Providian through a google search. I feel a little better although now I am concerned since I did send that discharge paper which had my social security number on it.

I have already submitted a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney General and within the next day I will be submitting a complaint to the FTC and to the postal service.

Hopefully that will end my dealings with this company. If I do hear from them, I will follow the advice of the many other individuals who have previously submitted rif-off complaints.

I am also going to call the credit card reporting companies and attempt to freeze my credit.
