Been Ripped Off Here's Some Information For You, Ripoff

Education & Science

To those who have been ripped off... I have some interesting facts for you...

As I've been looking for employment, I was called upon by this Oxford Financial Benefits Service company for a job interview... Now how can that be when I live in the same city as they do??? I was originally called to go for an interview for a mobility call center, and then upon arriving, i see on their main listing board on the main floor that the company was named Getaway America... I go up to the suite on the 4th floor, and I'm told the company's name is Oxford Financial Benefits Service... This came to me as being odd... Their pay structure is strictly under the table, when i asked to have it show, as for proof of income to later buy a car, they said they can try to work somethign out... Now what kind of company wouldn't allow you to show that u work there??? After going through about 1hr in the suite... I realized there was something fishy about the company... So I decided to sit in on some of the phone calls... Wow... Is it ever shady... Right after i finish typing this report for all of you that were taken advantage of, I will be reporting the company to the Better Business Bureau for those of you taken advantage of... Further more... Most of these applications were achieved by failed mastercard applications over the internet... Those of you thinking about taking this to legal action, should know of the following...

The company is actually in Calgary, Alberta Canada...

This office consists of about 40 employees working day and night... Usually of teenagers of the age 25 and under... Now... A company that doesn't ask you for your SSN/SIN number to show ur proof of employment is shady is it not??? Now, as proof of my report, they will ask you questions such as the following over the phone...

1. First they will begin with telling you that u have been approved and will be receiving your new MC with an initial spending limit of 2000.

2. Ask you about your current mailing address being correct

3. They ask you for a physical address (not a PO Box) (probably used to obtain credit under your name)

4. They will ask you if you currently hold a checking account

5. They will ask of a household income of at least $800/month

6. Ask if you have filed for bankruptcy

7. Tell u for the first 3years, there is 0% interest, and will not exceed 8% after that...

8. Tell u about the $249.00 one time fee

9. Close you in with benefits, saying u can withdraw up to $500 daily in cash advance.

10. Tell you u can transfer your funds from other credit cards to this Oxford MC.

11. Ask for a cosigner (larger credit for them)

12. Ask for your chequing account number

13. Will ask u for the numbers on the bottom of your cheque

14. Advise u to call the activation number on the back of the card (if you ever get it... Yeah right...) this is just a tactic to make you believe, i'm sure...

15. Will hold debiting your account for up to 10days

16. Give u a customer service number of 866-333-7715 toll free

17. Repeat the company name, and give you their operator number...

Word to the wise... When they pass you to verification, the verification clerks are working in the same office space, in the same cubicles...

Any one still wondering if this report is true??? Go ahead and drop me and e-mail... And i'll try to further proove this...

Wishing you the best,

One less person trying to scam you out of money...
