Tricked and lied to us Allentown Pennsylvania

To anyone seeking a home loan. Do not-I repeat, Do Not go to FLEET BANK! We made the horrid mistake of obtaining a mortgage through these liars and cheats. First-they told us to go with an FHA loan because it had the lowest interest rate, never gave us a comparison to a conventional loan. Then, they dragged out the whole loan process.

For weeks they asked for the same information over and over. We would fax it and wait to hear from someone, finally we would call the loan processor and she would claim she never recieved it even though we had original fax transmittles to show they had indeed gotten them.

They told us over and over that we would not have to pay any PMI because we were putting down well over 20% for a downpayment. The very morning of closing, they informed us we had to pay PMI plus a premium. We had no choice but to close the loan.

The owner of the property was threatening legal action because he thought WE were purposely delaying the loan process, even though we told him what Fleet was doing to us. I guess he couldn't imagine anyone having to go through what we did and figured we were lying.

Fleet Bank made us look like theives when in fact THEY are the real theives. They put us in a home loan that would be the most expensive. They lied to us about the PMI. They let us put down a sizable downpayment and lied about the PMI. I truly do not understand how they can get away with what they did.
