Smythe Group
Ripoff scam artists, BEWARE!

Education & Science

This company basically bilked my 85 year old father out of $3,800 over the phone. They convinced him they would sell artwork and he would get the profit. They never did anything they said they were going to do besides cash his cashier's check.

Recently, after a lull in contact for 1-2 years, they mailed him a "lithograph" with a certificate of authenticity that states the lithograph is Pablo Picasso's. The "art" is so bad that even I, who know nothing about art, could immediately tell it was a fake, and subsequently confirmed that to myself with a tiny bit of research.

People like this make me sick. Please don't fall for their pitch like my poor dad did.
