Sent a false collection notice from SBC of Illinois RIPOFF

I tried to contact the company by phone and by calling information; there is no such company in OHIO, and there is no phone number corresponding to the one provided in the collection letter.

When I went on-line, I found 146 reports on Rip-off for falsley collecting monies from consumers and never paying the parent company. I called SBC bill collection and they told me the account was with SouthWest Credit, not Allied Interstate.
