$5000 grant scam to get $249.99 from my bank account Alls They Said Was Florida

I was call'd on the phone and told I was going to get a grant from the U.S. Govenment for $5000.00 and I ask'd what depatment and the person on the phone said the U.S. Treasury Dept. For paying my taxes on time I was selected. But he said I needed a bank account to transfer the $5000.00 into and I said I had no bank account and he said if I got one he'd call me back even though it was against the rules set forth.

So like a lamb led to the slaughter I got a bank account and gave all my information and my S.S.# to these people. At this point he tell's me I have to pay a one time transfer fee of $249.99 and the fee will be a debit from my account the day after the $5000.00 goes through so I said yes what's $249.99 for $5000.00."They have to make something"I told myself and hung up the phone. About an hour and thirty min. Later a man clameing to be a superviser calls me back and tell's me they have check'd my account for the $249.99 and it's not their. So told him I open'd my account with the minamal amount $10.00 and he told me if I wanted the money I'd go put the $249.99 in it now or lose it all. So I call'd my bank and found out it was a scam. Please help me if you can. Thank You..
