Ripoff do something about it

I also was scammed by Global Ventures of Miami. I purchased their business opportunity in April. My experience was very similar to all of yours. After eight months I still did not have locations set up. When I complained they overnighted my locations to me which seemed very suspicious. When I called the five locations (they were supposed to set up 6 locations) only one of them had ever heard of Global Ventures.

I became very angry at this time. I decided I had been through enough and had heard enough lies and excuses. I decided to cancel my order. Stephanie, at customer service, informed me that I could not cancel my order because I had used "third-party locators". I decided to send my cancellation in anyway via certified mail. About three months later I received the letters back unclaimed.

There are many details I would like to put in this report, but do not have time. I would like to report that I have received, via email, Global Ventures' spring report. The letter from Richard Arnold is very interesting. This company must be very cocky and think they are above the law. I wasn't sure If I was going to post anything on this site, but after reading this email I decided I had to.

In this email Arnold tells of how dissappointed he is that certain "frustrated" distributors have taken it upon themselves to try and shut down this business opportunity for others. He also says that the Global Ventures customers should band together and file suit against those "spreading these lies" for libel and slander. I say bring it on.

We have all suffered losses because of this company. I know from an experience with another company that you can read about on this website, called American Entertainment Distributors, that these scam business opportunities are a major problem in South Florida. I have learned from these experiences that getting angry won't solve much. Being proactive and filing complaints with the proper authorities are the only ways to make things right.

It sucks what has happened to anyone who was unfortunate enough to deal with these people. We do have options as to what we can do. If anyone is interested in discussing these options please write me back here and we can exchange information to get in touch with each other.
