Repeatedly calling us erroneously saying that our phone number is listed by several people from whom they are attempting to make collections ripoff

My husband and I live in Wilmington, Delaware, since August.in approximately the last 6 or 8 months, we have begun getting multiple phone calls/machine messages from a recorded voice ("Martha") from Allied Interstate Company.initially, we would call the stated 800# to inform "Martha" or whoever answered the phone at the time, that there were no individuals by the names they were seeking living at our property OR owning our phone number (302-xxx-xxxx). We were told that their records would be collected, but that 'someone' was using our phone number as their own.

Fast forward a few months, the flurry of phone calls from AI resumed. They come in fast and furious and follow each other each time they begin, at least twice. There is no return phone number in the caller ID, which simply says "out of area" or "unknown name, unknown number." My husband attempted to address this last week once again, and informed them that this is an error and they must at once remove our number as this has become a nuisance for us. We were assured that they would comply and remove us from their database of phone numbers. Shortly after that, we received 2 more calls.

Yesterday and today - 4 calls total. Can you shed some light on how I may proceed to prosecute this company or file a complaint of some kind? They are causing us ENORMOUS stress and I called them today to put them "on notice" that I would be filing some kind of formal complaint and/or lawsuit.
